In 2001, I discovered the Association of Personal Historians. The article said, “she
takes her tape recorder and records the stories of your life.”
At last I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up...a Personal Historian!
I started my business, Real to Reel, recording personal stories, in September of that
year. I believe that the work I do, helping you
to record your stories for your children, grandchildren and future generations is the most
important work there is.
To quote Sue Monk Kidd in The Secret Life of
Bees: "Stories have to be told or
they die, and when they die, we can't remember who we are or why we're here."
You deserve to tell your stories and your family deserves to hear them.
I’m here to help.
